Will this vehicle be “street-legal?”
Hopefully, yes. Here in this jurisdiction, a vehicle that is a “bona fide reproduction” of an antique vehicle needs to meet only the standards of the original vehicle from that era. In other words, it does not need to meet modern equipment requirements, such as safety-glazed windshield, seatbelts, etc.
Having said that … I have no intention of making this street-legal. It’s just not worth the hassle. It will be used in organized parades, and that’s probably about it.
